Rafael's Multiplying and Dividing Scribe Post

First of all you'll need the  sign rule from adding all the way to subtracting.
The sign rules are:

If theres two of the same integers (+,-) it means the answer is positive
eg. (+4)+(+9)=+13

If the signs are different (+,-) the answer would be negative
eg. (-4)-(+9)=-13

The sign rule only works while using subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and adding
Examples:
(1.)(+4)+(+9)=+13 (2.)(-4)-(+9)=-13

(3.)(-4)-(-9)=+5 (4.)(+3)x(+2)=+6

(5.)(+3)x(-3)=-9 (6.)(-5)x(-5)=+25

(7.)(-8)÷(+4)=-2 (8.)(-8)÷(-4)=+2

(9.)(+8)÷(-4)=-2

Sentences for both multiplying and division are:

Multiplying sentences always go with groups of, like:
eg. 3 groups of +2 or +6

Dividing sentences always go with either Share no. into no. equal groups or how many groups of no. are in no., like:
eg. Share -8 into +4 equal groups or -2
eg. how many groups of -4 are in +8 or -2

These are the multiplying and dividing diagrams:























But Dividing has so much diagrams based in sentences, like:























And Dividing also has some division that can't use one of the two statements, like:

eg. (-8)÷(-4)=+2
How many groups of (-4) are in (-8)/ can't use "share" statements/ CAN BE DIAGRAMED

eg. (+8)÷(-4)=-2 
How many groups of (-4) are in (+8)/ can't use "share" statements/ CAN BE DIAGRAMED

And then there's something called the Multiplicative Inverse
Which means the multiplication statement can't be diagramed like this question, but can be stated.
eg. (-4)x(-2)=+8

Rafael's Integer Scribe Post

Integers

Figuring out integers is pretty easy. Here let me show you.

Example:
No.'s are +5, and -6

(+5)+(-6)= -1

There you go, see how easy it is.
But that's not the only things you need.
You may also use two proper visuals to represent your answer like:
Now we are going to compare the itty bitty Grade 7 to the maturing Grade 8
Here we go.

Reminder: Is not positive 5, nonononono.
Its Have 5 and Owe 6

6 - (-9)=          (-2) - (-5)=


Let me explain how






Some word examples are:
Remove- Have 6 remove owe 9 or 16
And- Have 4 and Owe 3 or Have 1

Rafael's Percent Post

Percents mean:                       Rafael Nieves    Room 8-14       Math


1. Percents mean - Per (out of a) cent (hundred)

Why 100%? Because it is not only a friendly number, it is also just about right. Not to big, not to small, about in the middle.

What about 205% - 2 wholes
                              - equivalent fraction --> 205/100
                              - improper or top heavy

Means....(by T-Charts)

1% means - 1% of 100%
                 - 1/100

10% means - 10% of 100
                   - 100/10 or 40/10
                   - Divides by 10's

25% means - 25% of 100
                   - 100/4 or 40/4
                   - Half of 50
                   - Divides by 4's

50% means - 50% of 100
                   - 100/2 or 40/2
                   - Half
                   - Divides by 2's

100% means - 100% of 100%
                     - all, whole, everything, 1/100, /100

- Line in between the two zero's is the number one. It is also the divider for fractions.
- The two zero's represents the ends of the number 100

2. 40/100 = 0.4 x 0.1 = 0.004

3. 400/100 = 4 x 250 = 1000

4. Combining Percents

Discounts is what you save.
Sale Price is what you pay.

Sale price Solution, Regular- Discounts= Sale Price

Taxes

Ex. GST 5%
       PST 6%
               ----
              11%

100 + 11 = 111/100 = 1.11 then multiply to the money.
